Scheduling and monitoring
Distinguish a requested review, a saved configuration, observed execution and confirmed receipt.
Distinguish a requested review, a saved configuration, observed execution and confirmed receipt. Saving a time or a route can close a setup question. It does not prove that anything ran, arrived, or changed an outcome.
Requested review
Someone has asked for a check at a named time, with a named source and a named recipient. The check has not happened.
Saved configuration
The time, timezone, route, or source list has been written down. A written-down time is not a run.
Observed execution
A run was actually seen, with a time and a record of what was attempted. A plan is not this state.
Confirmed receipt
The intended recipient's acknowledgement is recorded separately. Sending is not receipt.
Monitoring language needs the same care. A single check is not continuous watching. A manual note is not a scheduled run. This page does not report a saved configuration, a run, or a receipt, and it does not create a recurring task.
If a run does not happen
Record the last confirmed state, what is missing, and who decides whether to try again. Do not describe the missed run as complete. Any later retry would need its own permission and a check for a duplicate. This page does not authorise a retry.
An internal demonstration is not customer proof. This lesson has not been run as a customer job.
